Well, it appears I am anyway. I've pulled the thing apart but can't see the magical connector that's supposed to be there

Look, I even did up a nice little video https://photos.app.goo.gl/KcxuS5HouY3wyNiU7

I've even subbed to a day's worth of TOPIX and can't find anything in the manuals about the connector.

Sheesh this wasn't supposed to be so hard

FYI she's in Australia

Any suggestions?

I installed an aftermarket brake controller on my 2011 l322 s/c. Mine is left hand drive, the pigtail for the controller was above the left foot at the top of the kick panel as you sit in the drivers seat (didn't have to remove it). I had to remove lower dash shield that goes around the brake pedal arm. Hope this helps. Regards

Apparently the connector was only fitted to vehicle in the US market. Over here in Oz we weren't so lucky :crybaby2:

Is there a factory trailer wiring harness connector next to the spare tire? If there is it should be pre-wired for trailer brakes. This is where the tow bar wiring pigtail plugs into vehicle harness.
