2010 Range Rover Squeaking / Chirping Noise from Rear Seat Area

Hello,

I had this really annoying chirp and squeak in my RR going to bumps and uneven roads. I've had the dealership check the suspension and lube the joints. And I sprayed silicon grease in the tail gait latches. However, the noise is still there.

I finally had someone drive the car while I was in the back of the car trying to isolate the noise. It's definitely coming from the rear seat. And I've noticed that when I sit on the rear seat, the noise is gone. So I sprayed lithium grease on the latches, but the noise is still there. It feels like the noise is coming from inside the seat.

Has anyone have similar problem? Any solutions. Thanks in advance for your help.

I get an annoying chirp when contact pads on the rear storage space cover slip away from where the cover rests on the edge supports.
Is your cover in place, or is it removed? If you haven't already, take the cover out for a while and see if it still sqeaks.
