2010 Range Rover Sport Price Negotiations

All,

So the 2010 RRS prices are still not available, but dealerships now have their pipelines available with their allotments of 2010's coming in. The first trucks will be here in mid to late August from what a couple of dealerships pipelines show me. So my guess is that prices will be available in about 2 weeks. So now its time to work on the deal. Through some casual conversation about a week ago, they said they would do $2000 under MSRP. Now late yesterday over the phone I offered $1000 over invoice for a car they have in their pipeline that is due to be delivered in Aug. The sales manager was already out the office at that time so the conversation ended there, and we haven't resumed yet. How have you guys been approaching this deal for the 2010's. I hope i can work something favorably out, before I have to jump ship to the Mercedez :)

Comedy tip: This would have been way funnier if you said "I hope i can work something favorably out, before I have to jump ship to the Kia Sorento" :D

You could even leave the "z" on the end too...Kia Sorentoz, to keep the urban pop.
No, in humor you always want to be self-deprecating.

Would the original Vacation movie be as funny with the Griswolds driving across country in a brand new Mercedez? I think not. Would Beverly Hills Cop be as funny if Eddie Murphy pulled into LA in a new Rolls Royce. I think not. That's also why Pimp My Ride with X-Biscuit is funny .

Having to decide between a new RRS or Mercedez is not self-deprecating enough.

Or is it?
See, now that's funny. :thumb:
