Hey Folks,
I recently pulled the lever to release the hood on my 2010 HSE and I heard and felt something break. Upon inspection, I realized that the cable is fine, and the lever itself is fine, but there is a small plastic cam mechanism that holds a spring that the cable actually slides into. This is the piece that broke.

I'm having a really hard time finding this piece. I dont need the cable, or the lever itself.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Chances are you will have purchase the entire assembly if you want new, otherwise hit up a local breaker.

Yep, being that it has been the same design since 2003, you shouldn't have any problem finding one in a junk yard that you can buy the entire piece from.

Thanks guys. Correct me if i'm wrong though, the design changed in 2010. My research shows 03'-09' interchange, but my components look different that what I'm seeing for the 03'-09' setup.
Am I mistaken?
