My wife’s 2008 HSE is idleing up and down in park and will actually cut off some times. It does not matter if the A/C is on or off. It is not throwing any CEL at all. Any ideas?

Mine is starting to do this on start-up. Fluctuates maybe 4 or 5 times before it goes steady. I'm assuming that my Idle air bypass controller is starting to go. Not sure yet what Land Rover calls it but IAC valves are usually the culprit. My old Classic needed the stepper motor cleaned thoroughly about every 3yrs.

Start with cleaning the throttle body, common issue. Use search function top left of site, there’s quite a bit of information and ways of cleaning there..
