Hi guys,
First time poster here. I just bought a 2007 Range Rover Sport and am having an issue with the rear driver side door. The door opens without issue using the handle on the outside, but when sitting in the back seat the handle does not work. However, while sitting in the back seat if you pull the lock on the door out just a tiny bit the door opens without issue. It seems that the door is not unlocking all the way when unlocking the car(it is the same whether using the remote or the button inside the car to unlock the doors). Any ideas how to fix it so my passengers aren't locked in? Before anyone asks, I have double checked that the child lock is not on.

Thanks!

Yeah the locking actuators are a known problem point on these cars, a quick way to test it is if someone in the front of the car mashes the unlock button a few times and then you try to unlock the door from the rear and it works, you just need to replace the actuator unit if you're lazy or take it out and fix the problem with the component and put it back.
