So I took my 06 RRS HSE in after I had this issue and read this thread. I even printed off the TB for them. The agreed and tried to load the software, but they said "it wouldn't take the software". After more than $300 in labor, I am still having the same issue. The thought it might be the amp going bad, but that is an expensive repair for "thinking" it might be bad. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a way I can test the amp? I have done all the other easy troubleshooting I can think of (left the battery disconnected overnight, unplugged and replugged all cables at the amp and HU, checked all fuses).See TSB below, addressing MY07-09 RR (and 06-09 RRS) infotainment system lockups. If the touchscreen freezes on the Land Rover logo during "boot" and the audio system won't work it may be a MOST communication bug and this software fix may apply. Check your VIN to make sure you are within the range of affected vehicles first. If you're out of warranty (likely on a MY07 at this point) the repair will probably be on your dime, but it looks like an hour or so of labor only, no parts. A small price to pay to make husband happy again.
PS: This is a North America TSB, just noticed you are abroad... But still worth checking into as there may be a corresponding bulletin out for European spec vehicles.
