AC went out the other day and using my Carsoft LR II it gave me this "Compressor Clutch driver - line interruption" error. I am assuming I will need to replace the A/C compressor. I will take it in to a mechanic to confirm it is the A/C compressor. But want to tackle this myself if it is the A/C compressor. I know I will need to have the refrigerant removed too in order to remove the A/C compressor. But my question is... is there anything else related to the A/C compressor that needs replaced at this time? Also is there any after market brand I should get or is it best to use an OEM A/C compressor?

Thanks in advance,
