Hey all... I get a lot of great info from this forum! I try to be a good netizen and use search - usually gets me what I need, but this time ... nada.

In chasing down a lean code that keeps coming back, I bought a smoke machine and found that I was leaking at the BODY of the EGR. These things have some bolts holding them together but I have no idea if there are spring loaded things inside or what... is this even remotely serviceable? Can I separate the body and RTV it or something?

I know I can replace the part (~$200-$400) but the rig has 235k miles and is only worth about 3500 total.. so wondering if this is something I can service directly... any thoughts are appreciated!! I am not afraid to wrench!
