Hi everyone, new here and this is my first post. I recently purchased an 06 Ranger Rover HSE and noticed that when I have the headlights switched on "auto" they don't turn off in bright daylight. Diagnostics don't show an error in the solar sensor though I am not sure what that means.
Anyone have any ideas for a fix. Could it be a faulty lighting ECU?

First thing to do is check the light sensor to see if it's covered or blocked, and clean it.
The first step of that is to read your manual or other source of info for your RR to get familiar with where your sensor is & what it looks like.
If that doesn't work, you could move on to looking for a bad sensor or bad switch.
Best of luck.
