Can you install a radio out of a 2006 into my 2003? Has anyone tried? I know you can swap out the navigation, which is almost a must.. Am I missing something, or is there no way to put a house number in the original 03 Navigation? The nav has taken me to the wrong area multiple times. annoying!!

Not an expert in this but beleive you can only swap out the old pre 2005 nav with a BMW mk IV nav from a BMW. the newer LR nav and screen etc use a different type of wiring (fibre optic), so you would need new wiring harnesses I assume? :?:

Shame that a new MKIV nav unit cost about £400 but a tom tom is less than £100....
