I understand that the Remote Key can be programmed to do certain things by a Land Rover dealer such as lower the car, move the seat etc.

If the dealer can do this then you lot know a way I can do it! So anybody have a list of programmable functions and how to set them without that costly dealer visit?

Many thanks I did search the forums but could could not find this exact subject.

The manual should give instructions for this, as far as I know the key can store seat, mirror and steering wheel positions as per all range rovers (since the P38 in 1994) but with 2006 came radio preset store and I think gearbox driving style adaptations(?)

I believe there are two types of key remotes for 06-09 RR, the one they used initially was a fixed blade design that required the dealer's intervention to change most of its programmable features. Some time in MY2006 (or 2007? Not sure...) they changed that to a switchblade key design shared with Disco/LR3 and RRS, which allows some customization of the programmable Land Rover button by the end user, enabling or disabling single point entry, etc. Which key do you have?

Fixed blade unfortunately but at least I know my limitations now!

Hi,Im new.

I have a 2007 SC Vogue SE purchased last weekend.I had a 2003 TD6 Vogue for 4 years previously.

My question is has anyone any idea if you can programme the lazy locking feature without visiting the dealer?

Don't you just push and hold the unlock (or lock) buttons on the remote to open / close all windows and sunroof? I thought you'd have to visit the dealer to get Lazy Locking disabled, not the other way around... :?: I don't think Lazy Locking is enabled here in North America because of our litigious attorneys. But I believe that's the way they should work abroad, press and hold the buttons on the remote. If the feature is disabled, I'm afraid you may indeed have to pay your dealer to turn it on.

Yes just hold the unlock button down for Lazy locking in the UK - read that earlier and same worked on my RR Sport & LR3 Metropolis.
