Hey, I had a question about my 2004 rr HSE. There is a button adjacent to the navigation system, which has a telephone icon on it. Do the 2004 rr's come with bluetooth?? I am unable to find anything in my owner's manual mentioning blue tooth, and nothing happens when I press the button. From reading through posts, I am aware that people upgrade there bluetooth systems, but is this to get better performance, or because they are non-exsistant pre-upgrade.

Hi,

The 04 is based on the BMW system that allows for a full functioning bluetooth system. The 04 has the proper connectors and proper buttons, but you would need to install the bluetooth system to take advantage of that system.

Has anyone here done this install in the US? Any firsthand experience in terms of if it is worth the investment relative to buy a generic and cheaper bluetooth options from a source like ParrotUSA would be appreciated.
