No it wont. I looked into this about a year ago. Only way is to add a digital reciever and aerial. I had one for a short time but it wasn't a lot of good. Either you get reception or you don't. ie you wont get a snowy picture when the signal is bad. You just don't get a picture at all.

Does anyone know if the TV will still work in the UK when the analogue system is switched off.

Hmm might be in the market for one of these myself. I used an aftermarket one recently but as you say the signal reception isn't great in the south at the moment and I could rarely get good reception on digital.
Where is the unit located on the car? rear left hand access panel?
