I have a 2000 4.0 HSE with Bosch engine made for US market. The exhaust system is rotten in a couple of places and needs to be replaced. Atlantic British seems to suggest that the dual system which is more money ($450 on sale, mid-section and rear section, no cats). I can get a Bosal single system for a lot less from rock auto. The exhaust on my truck seems original (muffler has a Land Rover part number). Is it supposed to be a single or dual exhaust? Altantic British seems to imply that Bosch trucks are supposed to have a dual system, but I have my doubts.

Does anybody know whether the 2000 US Bosch 4.0 is supposed to have a single or dual exhaust? The single exhaust seems beefy enough to handle the rover engine, pretty thick pipes.

Some had single, some had dual. In the UK it depended on spec and year and I assume it was the same in the US.

I would like to thank everyone who responded. I will order single, since that's what the truck had originally and it's cheaper.
