hi everyone, i know this is a long shot, fan belt broke on me the other day snapping tensioner mounting, since ive replaced both all well on tick over, but on accelerating theres a quite loud shooshing sound,, when you ease off the throttle its not there, ive ordered a new water pump just in case, but any ideas would be greatly appreciated, also other half says acceleration isnt good, i nursed it home 40 miles very slowly,, thanks in advance,,

check all turbo hoses,chances are on has been holed by the snapped belt.
