Hi guys I have a P38 with only 105k miles with a clunking noise in the rear drivetrain when I accelerate or going uphill. I’ve taken it to 2 different reputable mechanics in my area. One tells me it’s the transfer case and the other one says it’s the spider gearsin my rear differential. The Ujoints are fine but a transfer case is crazy expensive labor wise and I don’t know what to do. Any insight from you gurus would be greatly appreciated!!
