I replaced the expansion valve in my 1999 4.6 HSE with a generic one, and I am having trouble finding o-rings that fit correctly. The o-ring kits they sell at the parts stores don't seem to fit, and the ones I purchased at the dealer aren't correct either. Has anyone successfully replaced these o-rings? The dealer doesn't show these parts individually because the lines and valve always come with the o-rings.

Try a seals specialist for o-ring sizes.

Can anyone tell me where the coolant leaks out? Is is into the interior on the floor as some people have told me, or is it somewhere in the engine bay?

THe expansion valve has nothign to do with coolant leaks. Please see home page and/or use search for common issues and fixes.
