over the last couple of weeks I have noticed if the car sits for 2 or more days it takes a while for it to start. The engine cranks strong and takes about 4 tries for it to finally start. I am suspecting the the fuel is draining back into the tank while sitting for some time enough for it to take some time to build up enough fuel supply and pressure for it to start. If i turn the key to on for a few secs and repeat 3 times then try to start then it starts right up.

This is what I suspect but not sure. What could be causing this ? fuel pump? pressure reg? is there a cold start valve? is there a check valve somewhere?

your ideas are appretiated !

I did search by the way but did not find much on this issue.
