Greetings, I recently acquired a 1991 Land Rover,in a trade and so far it has been very dependable. The other day the ABS light came on and then I discovered my brake pedal became very hard and I only had brakes in the front. I bled the brakes, starting with the right rear brake (as the manual stated),but had almost no brake fluid coming from the rear brakes. I have only a Haynes manual at this time (am looking for a Rover shop manual),,any ideas of how I can remedy this?

I would think it’s so cold on the north pole
That the brake fluid is freezing
Maybe get a hair dryer and warm it up a little

When the “ABS” (actually the whole braking system) pump goes out you will have very weak front brakes and no pressure at the back.

If you don’t hear a loud buzz when turning the key to ignition, check the fuses and relay. If good, replace with with an assembly from the newer P38 or send your DC pump motor out for rebuild.

soft dash shop manual is here. it covers everything mechanical in better detail than the others.

hard dash manual is here for stuff specific to your year.
