Looking at purchasing 1991 #73 great divide edition. Mechanically in pretty good shape and interior looks nice. It has a few peoblems, it needs a new sunroof seal, rear window handle and the rear passenger side door does not open but other than that its in great shape. He is asking $3800. Brand new to the forum and this would be my first rover. Is this a good price or on the higher side? Any other information would be great as well.

"Special editions" rarely have anything special about them that garner a higher price. Follow standard pricing info for your area.

Saw this one on Craigslist the other day. Probably a fair price as long as the rust is manageable if it has any. If it has higher miles and no documentation, I'd be looking closer to $3000.

While I don't completely disagree, at least the bumper is worth $600-800 by itself.

I really wanted a Great Divide Edition. I wouldn't bother again. Just find a good one. If the good one you find happens to be a special edition, so be it.

Low mile, quality restorations might fetch a modest premium. This is the one from CT. It has been for sale for over a year. Started out close to $5K as I recall.
