Curved window is your front windshield defroster. Notice the tiny wires embedded in your windshield?
The square one is for the rear defroster.
The "autobahn" symbol is cruise control.

RJ45 could have been an older cellphone connection, was the norm back in the days of 3 watt transportable and in-car cell phones.

Search for the Rave CD or purchase a Bentley manual for any technical info related to your Rover.

The front def. switch is independent of the climate control sliders.
You can use the the top dash round vents or hit the def. switch.
