Hi I'm new to this forum and wondered if anyone could help me, I've recently brought a 3.5L v8 holley carb conversion vogue (1988) and the gear selector is stiff (auto gearbox) and wondered what sort of job it is to either replace it or repair it? And wondered if theres anything I should be looking out for on it. It is only a weekend toy 馃憤

You can remove the shifter cable then clean & lube it. Download the workshop manual if you haven't yet. You'll find the procedure for removal & refit. Cleaning you'll figure out on your own.

Congrats on the new toy!
