Hey all,

Bit of a beginner. Have a 1980 Range Rover Classic V8 with a 4 speed manual. The car has been sitting for about 5-6 weeks. Yesterday, after starting it, I depressed the clutch and it basically goes down to the floor. Cannot engage any gears. Thought it was a fluid leak, but cannot see signs of any leak.

Appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Does the pedal have ‘normal’ resistance? If yes, the clutch may be stuck to the flywheel. There is an easy way to free it – but I wouldn’t want to recommend this on a forum. If no, check the fluid in the master reservoir.
