I've had the SVR for 1 week and so far it's been great. It has exceeded my expectations.

Corris Gray, upgraded stereo, black gloss trim and wheels, drive pro pack, park pro pack, Carplay

Love the exhaust, the way the 22" wheels look and feel and the overall fit and finish with the truck. The InControl is much better than I was anticipating. (Knock on wood) I've had no issues with blanks screens or cameras. It is laggy, but acceptable. Carplay is decent and has all the same quirks as my other car equipped with it.

I had a few upgrades that I wanted: tint, winter wheels and integrated radar. There are very little photos online about how to integrate a radar into the cabin and where to put the controls. I thought I'd share what I did - very happy with it.

The front radar is behind the front bumper and the rear is behind the rear bumper. I only put laser diffusers on the front (integrated within the black grill) because the back was going to be more complicated fishing the larger wires that now come with the 360 Ci through existing holes/wire management tubes of the hatch. If it's a problem in the future, I'll add them - but I have yet to run into lasers in my area.

Sorry about the dirty grill. This is the right one. The left one is equally positioned.

I don't think they are ALPs. They're what come with the 360 Max Ci (front/rear radar, GPS and 4 diffusers). I have read a lot about them not being as effective, but I think recent firmware updates helps lessen the gap to the ALPs. The reason I chose the Escort system is the front/rear radar work very well, with decent advanced notice. I like the integration with Escort Live (although Waze is better). I've used the K40 in the past and didn't think it gave me enough notice (i.e. I saw the cop at the time the radar chirped). The other advantage with Escort is the filtering of false alerts from ACC and the like. With the 9500 Ci, I was constantly muting K band false alarms (especially near any Cadillac).

The diffusers are probably not in the correct position. I'm not running a front plate - which is really where you want them close to.

They don't use lasers in my area. Ka mostly with the occasional K band.

I also put the Max Ci360 on my 19 SVR.

My installer did the same thing putting all the jammers in the front of the vehicle since thats where your most likely to be shot lidar from. The ALP is supposed to be more effective in jamming specific guns like the Dragoneye, but you have to run two parallel systems in order to achieve detection as well, which kinda sucks.

I agree in that the Max Ci360 is probably the best money you can spend, I always get alerted 1/4 to 1/2 mile in advance which is ample time to slow down or reposition yourself.

The bad news (if you haven't already been told) is that the Max Ci360 only supports a maximum of 4 diffusers so you can't even purchase more to get further coverage in the back.

Congrats, Corris Grey is an awesome color! I will post some pics of my setup as well once I get my vehicle back.

Where is the little L.E.D. which shows if the radar is ahead or behind you? My install is a little different-the pushbuttons are where your display is, and the display is on the overhead panel that has the sunroof controls.

stemikel: The installer was referred to me by my dealer (he comes to you) - Mike @ On Site Cellular, [email protected], 708-494-2000.

Gotwish: I skipped the LED because I have easy visibility to the full display so I thought it was redundant in this case.

You mention the Max CI is better than the 9500ci, in which ways other than constant k band?

I’ve been using the 9500ci for a couple of years now and have had a love/hate relationship. It’s constantly breaking, including once where it got me an 18 over ticket.. I’d like to upgrade..

Re: 9500 vs Max 360 Ci - They both are good, but the filtering of the false alerts is the game changer. I only get legit K and Ka band alerts with the 360. The 9500 was always going off, requiring me to mute it and deal with it more often.

The directional arrows on the 360 really helps determine how to react to an alert. Also, the Escort Live on your phone integrates with the 360 display - which is pretty nice. I doubt it's as accurate as Waze, but it has helped me anticipate areas that are under patrol and alter my driving.

I did not have any reliability issues with the 9500 and so far no issues with the 360. I think both are better than the K40 I've had in the past.
