That's the sticker price of this new "Autobiography". I can't get used to the interior color combination. Exterior is Santorini Black. Just curious what other's think of that interior? By the way it's Tan/Jet. ibis1 ;)DSCF0992.JPG[/attachment:3bqn31fw]DSCF0991.JPG[/attachment:3bqn31fw]

Perhaps (hopefully?) it is better in the flesh... It definitely looks a lot more "orange" than "tan" in those photos.

This is tan, at least according to Land Rover USA's "car builder" web site for the Autobiography RR... This tan I like. The one above, no.

umbertob,

The color in my photos is very close to the real thing. More like orange. I thought I would not be the only one to question that shade. I guess for $116,000.00 they thought it should be an eye catcher. I'll post how long it takes to fly off our shelves. ibis1 ;)

Very good price if you think about it. How many other SUV's are in the same class? None. This could easily be a $125,000+ SUV. You have RRoyce, Bentley, Aston Martin, Lambo and Ferrari buyers out there who don't have a way of getting an SUV through their current car's manufacturer. I would like to see the wood trim back on the strip above the door map pockets though (2003-2006) instead of that cheap plastic strip.

I wonder if it has the wood on the back of the center console? I would like to get those pieces for my upcoming 2011 RR S/C.

Wow - I have got to see that in person, I had planned on going with that color from the website pics. Bentley has a similar color that does seem to photograph more orange, but if this is what it's like I'll probably stick with Sand or go with Arabica. I've had the same color combo since 1998, this is the first time I'm actually thinking of changing.

Any way you could take a shot of the sticker? More interior shots? Rear headrest shots? Any way to video the rear recline in action? There are so few real world AB shots out there.

Thanks!

I can't be completely certain, but don't the HSE Lux+ models get those 2 extra pieces of wood? They quote 12 pieces which I believe includes the rear HVAC surrounds. Maybe I'm miscounting? Do the sides of the front center console count as 2 per side?

michaeltw,

Here are four color swatches to give you an idea of the actual shade. I also shot a close up of the window sticker, if your interested. ibis1 ;)DSCF0999.JPG[/attachment:3rzk2yam]DSCF1002.JPG[/attachment:3rzk2yam]

None of my RR's have had those two pieces, including a LUX Plus and two S/C Models ('08,'10). I think they have only been put on Euro models with the four zone climate option. I agree the wood count seems off on the USA models...

Thanks, wasn't sure - from reading the LR site I thought they may have added it back in for MY10, wasn't talking about earlier models. I was disapointed when I first saw my '08, I thought the dealer had screwed up. The wood was part of the 4 zone climate, but like you said I don't know if it ever made it here beyond the special packages.

On the LR US site they currently list the HSE with 10 pieces and the Lux with 12 - both exclude the Black Lacquer Finish. The math doesn't seem to work - anyone with a '10 HSE - are you missing trim pieces?
