My RR recently started getting "Engine System Fault" messages when you started the engine and also low rev power was down a lot so I finally got it in to a dealers garage to find out they think the turbo actuator needs replacing and it will cost £900 odd inc vat.
Just wondering if thats a fair price?
Also does the RR have 2 of these? one for each turbo or am I completely mistaken (noob with cars)

Cheers

don't you have guarantee? I've replaced mine (2) under guarantee when they failed, one after the other, they know that's a common problem on TDV8 .... think this a shame if they don't get it under guarantee !

I only got the vehicle a month ago and I spoke to the previous owner and they are going to cover the costs. I think I will get both replaced at once if it involves working with the body kit.

Ah, yes -- a common people separated only by language: what is a noob? what is body kit? I assume guarantee is an equivalent to what us colonials call a warranty, yeah?
