Im new to this board. Currently have a 07 LR3 HSE and really like it. Im looking at a demo 09 Range rover HSE base and a 10 LR4 HSE Lux. Having a tough time trying to decide. I drove a 10 LR4 today and was very impressed. I also drove a 08 Range rover and wasnt that impressed. These car were at my local dealer. The 09 Im looking at is in another state. I think the 08 I drove was pretty beat up. Whoever had it before didnt treat it well. With the 09 Rover being a demo its not much more $$$ than the loaded LR4. The new LR4 has the new motor and interior. Though I would get the forums opinions?

The LR3 and LR4 have always felt squirly to me. To me the RR feels more substantial. I guess it boils down to what you like in a drive. I favor the cache of the RR, but maybe I'm just a snob.
09 HSE anyday. You can possibly find a new one for almost the same price as a loaded LR4.
G
hold off on buying for another year and enjoy your 07 to the end of its warranty than buy a 2010 Range Rover
I had the top of the range LR3 (Disco3 Metropolis) and am now in a Vogue TDV8.

Go for the Range Rover if Comfort/Cabin space is an issue.

Oh and plus you feel like a million dollars
im going to go drive a 2010 Friday to see what it like..

 funny. but the truth is i couldn't agree more. i know that the new "lr4" is a vast improvement over the "lr3"... but let's be honest they really they all disco's aren't they? i mean, my buddy has an '06 lr3 hse, i have an '06 RR luxe. inside and out the RR is simply twice the car; the looks, the ride, the fit and finish, the interior... so that's my take. good luck! :thumb:
Used to own a Disco II and haven't been into the new ones but can't imagine picking it over a RR for any reason.
'09 Range Rover without question. The base is still really well equipped. If you can swing it though, get the luxury package as it makes a nice difference.
