Yesterday I pulled the radio faceplate controller to fix some inoperative buttons. That did get fixed (what a project, but they all physically work again!), but when I installed the unit back in, I had no lcd display, no “nav/compass screen” above (but 4X4 display works fine) and none of the buttons/dials work or backlight at night. I can still control volume, stations etc from the steering wheel and passenger fuses 42 and 58 are good. When I first start the vehicle, the radio immediately comes on. I tried the battery disconnect trick with no luck. Any thoughts? Seems weird that everything else still works. I’ve read about the MOST ring but have zero experience with it. I did come across a TSB on another thread that involves getting the dealer to patch the system with an update, but was hoping there might be a more simple option before I get the wallet out. Thanks for any helpful input you might could provide.
