I have a 2006 4.4L range rover HSE

I am currently changing the fuel pump, and looking into a new fuel filter as well, but the ones i am seeing online do not seem to have exactly the same wiring.

The ones i am seeing are like that, with a separate little black plug with two wires for the silver thing on the bottom, mine is how ever like this one

With a single wire that is part of the main connector.

Are they compatible? do i just leave one wire disconnected and use the wiring harness from the old one or what?

The pump i got (and all the ones online that i saw) turnt out to be set-up for the connections on the new filters, so i just went with it and bought one. It seems to work fine BUT i can not know for sure as the fuel level sensor i believe is what the wiring is for, I will have to get a full tank so i know how much it is suppose to read as. but it does show some gas in the tank at least, so its not just forcing the pump off
