03 rear lights to Supercharged - easy fit?

Probably a silly question, but is it a straight forward swap?

If so, once you've undone the two nuts on the inside, do the lights just slide out? I notice two indents where the rear light meets the rear wing in the side?

Very simple.

Exactly as you have described, undo the two screws and then place a flat bladed screwdriver in those slots and lever back towards the rear doors, they will pop out. Wrap the screw driver blade in a duster or some type of soft cloth to avoid scratching the paint. When pushing back in just use the palm of your hand and tap fully home.
Thanks.

Yep all sorted now. Vey straight forward.

Just didnt want to get out there in the rain and find out it was an hour long job with all sorts of complications, as most 'easy' jobs seem to turn out for me

On the same note, does anyone know if 06+ side vents are a direct fit into a 2004 etc?

Thanks!

Yes 02-09 all fit each other.
They all fit, but on the supercharged and 09 vents you have to remove the backing part from the vent or they will not fit into the recess. The down side of that is you can see the body brackets through the vent.

Not sure what you mean here about removing backing part....

I have fitted Supercharged Vents into a 2005 and a 2007 with no issues at all and perfect swap/fit - just un-bolt top & bottom (Pull bottom body panel from rear) carefully pull out vents towards the rear then do the opposite to fit.

When I installed mine they came with this backing piece, you have to remove this or it will not fit into the recess.

Interesting - not seen that black backing piece before.
