03 Range Rover Tansmission issues

I'm having a starnge tranismission problem with my Range Rover. Currently when I drive for extended periods of time, my transmission seems to shift hard into first when I come to a stop. the odd thing is when I put the vehicle into sport mode when this occurs the problem no longer exists. I called the dealer and they recommended I get my transmission ECU flashed.

Has anyone had this occur before? Would the flash fix the issue?

hi, I recomend you use the search option. Then you will find many posts with almost the same as your problem. With that being said, I think the transmission uses to different clutch's when choosing sport/manual vers. Drive.
I recomend you check fluid level, if that's ok have the transmission inspected by an transmission specialist.
