    I had to drop the alternator off my 108,000 mile, 1998 HSE P38 (GEMS) to replace the water pump, hoses etc. On refitting everything, when the engine was idling, the dash lights would pulsate. As more load was added, so that would also pulsate. The battery was new, so I took off the alternator...

    I'll try to make this as short as possible. Bought a '10 RRSS with 31K on the clock. About 4K later experienced the wheel shaking under braking. Took it in the dealer. They through rotors and pads at it. 4K later, back to the dealer. Same result, more rotors and pads. Then 1.5K later same thing...
