  1. Left brake stop lamp always slightly on?

Range Rover Mark II / P38
Left brake stop lamp is always on just a little bit - park/headlights off, brake pedal not pressed - that lamp is slightly lit, just slightly. Generally can only tell it's on at dusk/dawn. Figured this might be a side effect of a possible factory hack to get the third brake light to work, but...
  2. Slightly rough idle. Should I be scared?

    Range Rover Sport / L320
‘11 RRS SC. 85k miles. Of course the first thing I get scared of is... tensioners. Weve always run a minimum of 91 octane and have for the last couple oil changes started halving the recommended interval as I’ve read and been told that can stave off disaster. Im due for air filters, but...

  5. Cruise control slightly jumpy

    Range Rover Sport / L320
I have a 2010 sport. For a while now, i have noticed that the cruise control had been acting up and getting worse but very slightly over the months. If i am on a straight flat road cruising at 72 mph, just as i hit a start of an incline, the car slows down by one or two MPH then the cruise...

  7. Slightly overfilled the oil... can this harm

Range Rover Mark III / L322
I have changed the Oil on my 4.4 Petrol 2005 RR and topped it two days after driving as I thought it had dropped below. Actually the oil was so clear that that was a wrong assumption and I slightly overfilled. Question is whether that can harm and do I need to drain half a liter....Thanks.

    General Chatter
Slightly OT... Suggestions for getting out of a leased vehicle? Greetings.. In August I leased a 2015 Escalade ESV. At the time I needed the huge vehicle. Fast forward a few months later and my needs have changed. Don't need such a big transport. I live in LA where parking is tight...
  10. Depressing the Brakes Makes my Lights Dim Slightly

Range Rover Mark II / P38
Hi All, I noticed recently that whenever I depress my brake pedal it makes my lights (headlights, dash lights, etc) dim ever so slightly for a quick second. It's not really noticeable while driving, and only when I'm actually looking for it. I was just wondering if this was something that might...

  12. Anyone with a drivers seat that will move slightly fwd/aft?

    Range Rover Sport / L320
I have a pesky issue with the drivers seat bottom moving about an 1/8 of an inch or slightly more under moderate breaking, and or acceleration. Any one have this issue? Any ideas of a fix? Could possibly be defective or worn seat rail.
  13. Slightly Slower Uphill? A comparison between two rovers.

    Range Rover Classic
I have two 95 classics. I took them both on a short route around the block which involves a seriously steep hill. I made a marker on the road at the top of the hill. Faster Rover hit the marker at 40 mph @ 4500 rpm and shifts right at the marker. Slower Rover hit the marker at 30 mph @ 3900...
  14. Another (Slightly different) EAS problem

Range Rover Mark II / P38
Hi All, I bought a P38 about a year ago, an X reg (2000) 4.6V8 with LPG conversion. I’ve sorted a few niggles with her over the year, but after a number of occasions being a bit slow to come up in the mornings (!) and an unsightly trip back from work on the back of an AA lorry, I thought I’d...

Range Rover Mark III / L322
2008 RR SC 44k miles.... slightly leaning to the left.... no warning lightes, etc 1) The SO's RR looks to be, when viewed from the rear while in the garage, ever so slightly leaning to the right... I switched it's location to another garage to see if it was the garage floor or maybe my old...
  16. Changing Colours Maybe - Slightly different Shade of Blue!

    Range Rover Sport / L320
I stopped in this weekend to pick up a few small items at the local LR dealer and saw a simply spectacular Baltic Blue LR4 with Alpaca interior. My first thought was to add to the LR stable...but then cooler heads prevailed! I have to admit, I love the Baltic Blue colour, so much that I was...

    Range Rover Sport / L320
Engine spins up slightly before transmission engages. Coffee is spilled... Is this just me? It’s always been the case with this car, just for some reason annoys it me more at some times than others. I spilled my coffee again today, so that’s what pushed me over the edge. Starting from rest...

Range Rover Mark III / L322
Shop light slightly melted the air intake hose - will I be able to tell? Hi all, Foolishly I let my shop light tip over and sit on the air intake hose while I was doing some re-assembly of the air cleaner/filter housing. After about 15 seconds, I looked over and saw a tiny bit of smoke...
