Hi, Living in Dubai, what else but a RR ? I started taking it off road (mostly desert) last year, but quickly realized the tires were an issue. So I mounted the Grabber AT3...and what a change ! The grip is phenomenal, the RR goes literally everywhere. It's a beast. I'm ofter welcomed with...

I've been running AWD low with my RRC and its LT230 transfer case ... but should I be locking the transfer case for deep sand? Nearly hit the vehicles capacity for handling soft sand the other day and it made me question which setting I should be in ... yes, I'm airing down the tires to ~12...

So I'm trying out my new to me 1990 Classic at the NC Outer Banks this weekend after changing fluids & getting a bit more confident with it offroad. So for the sand, besides airing down the stock size tires, not hitting the brakes, etc is there anything else I should do specific for Classics...

What wheels and tires should I purchase for a 2015 RRS with current 21"tires wheels on it. I just want to continue enjoying my sand beach for surfing. I guess it would be cheaper than buying a used JEEP for beach driving! Any inputs appreciated. Thanks LCL

I had seen a question about how well the RR would work on the beach so, I figured I would do some research while I was on vacation. I am happy to report that it works very well. I deflated my tires to 22psi, from my normal 35, and used the Sand setting on the Terrain Response system...

obviously i know the RRS is capable of transversing sand. but can it go into deep, soft beach sand with the 22" wheels and without deflating the tires (the usual protocol for beach-driving)? i don't wanna get stuck.

I just got my RRSC a few months ago and have yet to drive on the beach. Does anyone know the ideal psi for the RRS on sand? thx

my 96 4.6 overheated the other day while driving in soft sand. The needle never made it into the red so i think its okay, but would the rise in temperature under load be indicative of a clogged radiator? I just dropped in a new fuel pump and tires so I dont want to see this truck melt its motor...
