  1. Range Rover Mark IV / L405
Here's the deal. My wife's lease is up in about 4 months, and we are starting to look at used SUV's to replace it. As of now we have look at XC90's, MB GLS's, Q7's and possibly 2018 Expeditions in the upcoming weeks. I have always been in love with Range Rovers, whether the L405's or the...
  2. Range Rover Mark II / P38
My 2001 4.6 P38 has low oil pressure and a knock at hot idle; I'm trying to determine what to do next. I just put it back together after replacing the timing chain, oil pump, and rod bearings. The rods didn't look bad at all and the oil pump wasn't cracked like some people have experienced. I...

One of the blades broke on my 95 classic. The fan from a 98 P38 fits with a little shaving of the inside of the lower shroud. P38 fan has more pitch but fewer blades. Does it draw more air? My alternative is the one piece fan/clutch from a disco II. Both are at my local U-Pull It.

Hi, I'm about to pull the front differential third member from my '01. One part of the job I'm unsure of is how much of the front brakes have to be dissassembled in order to separate the front hubs to pull the axle shafts out far enough to remove the diff. The manual makes it sound like...

After quitting my job, I realized what the monthly payments would end up costing me :(. So I thought I'd have to put my Rover on hold. 'Til I found this baby, it's not perfect, a terrible radio install, sagging headliner, cracked windshield, and 206k, but it's my first (sort of) car. It's got a...
