Range Rover Mark II / P38
Hello, I have just acquired a CVC pre production P38 which is in need of some TLC and will no doubt be pestering the forums for guidance on the various dramas as they unfold. I have undertaken an "A" suffix restoration but think the P38 might be slightly more complicated! Best wishes, David

  4. Engine disabled - Press remote or enter Keycode

Range Rover Mark II / P38
Hi All, Fresh into the joys of P38s and immediately need some help and guidance. After about a month of enjoying the drive, my P38 (1999, 4.6 V8 Vogue GEMS) seems to have been upset about something. Coming back to it after finishing work, it just wouldn't accept the remote key (only one key!)...
  5. Engine disabled, press remote

Range Rover Mark II / P38
My P38's key fob stopped working a few weeks ago, and it was the only one that came with the car. So it isn't on the road at the minute, I managed to get it started with the EKA code yesterday and tried again today, but when I turned the key to start it, it said 'Engine Disabled, Press Remote'...

Range Rover Mark II / P38
Hey Guys, I'm having an issue with my NAS 99 bosch p38, and before I jump to conclusions (and assume it's the BECM) I just wanted to run my problem by the board first (and yes, I've searched and search), especially before I begin tearing out the BECM in below freezing temps. I went away...

Hi, I have had lots of trouble with locking and unlocking of door locks from, I am told, "Stray Signals" from my garage door and house alarm, so I replaced the receiver with one of a different frequency and it seemed to do the trick. The problem is back but it cannot be associated with the...
