  1. L320 2007 Errors after Transmission overhaul

    Range Rover Sport / L320
Automatic Transmission is completely overhauled by specialised company. After installation of the Transmission, few errors occur. 1. Not always immediate traction when put in 'D' or 'R'; switching engine on/off does mostly help, sometimes just waiting solves it. 2. During driving after few...
  2. Transmission Slipping. Overhaul vs New?

Range Rover Mark III / L322
I have 2007 RR Supercharged with 224,000kms. I took the car to a garage to replace my brake pads and disks. Once I took it back I noticed the transmission was slipping when shifting gears. On my way to work I got "Transmission Fault Limited Gears Only" and the transmission was stuck in 5th gear...
  3. Interior overhaul

Range Rover Mark III / L322
So i decided to overhaul the interior of my vehicle seeing the aging beige no longer gets clean and is fading. Here are some photos , the plan is to hand stitch the seams and have a classy finish when i'm done. Everything was beige but it is slowly turning into crimson brown with a hemmed seam...
  4. ABS overhaul seal kit

Range Rover Mark II / P38
hello all, my 2k p38 is developing a drifting brake pedal, it has happened a few times while stopped where the brake sinks slowly and the trucks moves. this causes to either push further or pump the pedal to regain "pressure". thus in my experience it means the seals in the master cylinder are...
  5. 1992 RRC - Suspension Overhaul - Opinions

    Range Rover Classic
My current suspension isn't terrible, but seems tired. Here is what I am thinking: police springs (red/white) in rear new springs (green) up front +2" shocks all around (Bilstein or Koni) 2 x these in the front...
  6. Complete A/C overhaul, only gets cold when it wants to

Range Rover Mark III / L322
We have had some cooling issues and recently had the entire a/c system replaced (under warranty!). That did not seem to fix the issue, however. It will blow hot air when it feels like it, and ice cold air when it is not mad at us. Any ideas? I was thinking perhaps ac temp switch? 2006 RR HSE

Range Rover Mark II / P38
Have any of you overhauled the p38 diesel injector pump and what's involved in doing so. I can buy a kit of seals cheap enough on eBay. But was quoted €700 few years back to have it overhauled in garage. There must be more than just replacing the seals for that sort of money...........or is...
  8. 03 HSE Beisan System Overhaul

Range Rover Mark III / L322
Hello to all...Fairly new to this site and I would like to hear from Range Rover Owners that have either done the Vanos Beisan System Procedure or are planning on doing it. I have the Rave CD and have read many sites on the procedure but it is so involved. Wondering if anyone can shed dome...
  9. Engine Rattle. Vanos / VVC Overhaul. 2004 4.4 V8

Range Rover Mark III / L322
I bought my 2004 car last year with the dreaded vanos rattle. On start up it ran quietly but as soon as it warmed up the diesel like noise started. I listened to many youtube videos regarding the noise - they are mainly about BMW cars as opposed to the L322 - but same M62 engine and same noise...
  10. Foundry interior overhaul

Range Rover Mark III / L322
Hi guys I've been toying with replacing some of the aging interior parts of my L322 to breath some new life into the interior. Had the leathers professionally restored and it really shows up the interior. Got the pictures back today and wanted to share them. Guys at garnish dips have done an...
  11. Brake overhaul

    Range Rover Classic
Hi Guys (and Gals), At my last MOT i was advised that my discs are getting a bit past it and a couple of brake pipes need replacing soon. Judging by the lack of "bite" in my brakes i think the time has come to get some work done. Last time i replaced the pads i noticed some of the caliper...
  12. Suspension Overhaul... what else should I replace?

Range Rover Mark II / P38
So I'm getting ready to go back to EAS (finally) and I figure while I'm at it, I might as well do everything. What I have- All EAS components (bags, compressor, valve block, drier, height sensors, etc) What I know I need- 4 new struts (this isn't even a question, they're the originals with...
