mudding

I took off down this rocky road around some new construction in the area. I have been on it many times before but apparently not this wet. The farther I went the less traction I had. My tires were coated in mud and the rocks were sticking to the mud on my tires. Maybe the rocks were acting...

so i am looking to upgrade from my stock rim/tires (29'') to a set of 31'' M/T tires with 15'' rims. my question is, is the extra torque from the bigger tires going to do any damage to the diffs. i know it is a big problem with jeeps and the dana diffs. so can the ring and pinyon handle it...
