After looking for two weeks I agreed to purchase a 18 HSE v6 fully loaded CPO with low miles. On delivery to me the delivery truck caught fire and the vehicle was burnt out. i found out this morning and have a pending refund from the dealer. i am now looking at a 2019 V6 HSE CPO and a new V8...
  2. Extended Warranty - Any luck ??

Range Rover Sport II / L494
So time for me to get extended warranty for my 2015 RRS.. Anybody got one recently.. Looks like I'm going to spend more time looking for a warranty compared to the time I spent purchasing the car itself.. Thatz because, dealers either don't care or just give some ridiculous numbers.. Any...
  3. Diagnostic and non start nightmare - still no luck

Range Rover Mark II / P38
Let me explain.. there was another thread here NO diagnostics but since a lot of things happened.. only not the desired result. I have a non starting Diesel manual P38 in here, it is a highland edition for the Italian market. I suspect it is on its second BECM. The key looks dodgy but has a...
  4. Just a bad luck run with Nissen radiators

Range Rover Mark II / P38
I'll start by say that I may just have been unlucky but I've been through 2 Nissen rad for my 4.6 hse this year. I put in the first one as a routine maintenance item after doing head gaskets, but after a month water starts running out of the bottom joint between the core and the bottom...
  5. Wish me luck.

Range Rover Mark II / P38
I just bought a bright yellow 1997 Range Rover 4.6 HSE with the GEMS engine. As I expected it has a few relatively minor issues, (light bulbs, idle valve, etc), but generally everything seems to work. It rides and drives extremely well for a vehicle of its age. I purchased it primarily for...

  7. Anyone had any luck fitting Bluetooth via the CD port?

Range Rover Mark II / P38
I'd like to add the ability to stream music from my iPhone via Bluetooth. I keep reading conflicting views on replacing the head unit and in any case they all sound like more work than unplug old one, plug in new on. Not to mention you'd need some kind of fascia panel to make it look right...

Range Rover Mark II / P38
Starting a thread to gather intell from the pros here. Just shelled out 350 bones to Atlatic British for head gasket kit, bolts, and an oil pan gasket. My oil pan unfortunately has almost as much water in it as oil. It runs great, no overheating, but blowining plenty of steam and lots of water...
