I’m about to change these and it seems pretty straight forward but I have a question.....
Do I need to totally jack up the rear as in tire off ground in order to remove them? I’m thinking that as long as there’s no tension on the link it will be loose enough to remove safely.
Does anyone have recommendations for an aftermarket brand that’s equal or better quality than the Genuine Land Rover Sway Bar Bushings and End Links?
I’ve seen a lot of these parts from Eurospare, Centric, Febest, Moog, Britpart, Mevotech, Lemfoerder. Etc..
The Genuine Land Rover branded are...
I recently took a trip to Waterloo, South Carolina, USA to Gulches ORV Park. My P38 has been converted to coil springs and has approximately 31.4" A/T tires on it.
Before this trip, I would get a slight vibration around 65-70 mph, and then it dies off at 71+ mph. At the ORV park this...
Hello, I have new end links for my front end but I cannot for the life of me undo the nuts on the old ones. Turns out that the top nut is not quite tight causing a noise but I cannot tighten it .So can't loosen, or tighten the nuts. Sprayed all kinds of anti seize, applied heat, nada.
I did my drop links today and everything was fine for about 10 miles then i get an adaptive dynamics fault on the 2011 sc after a u turn.
I looked at the wires to shock towers but dont see any breaks. Im afraid this might be related to the install of the drop links

I have come to redo my timing on my engine, however all the guides on the net say to put the bright link on the dot on smaller lower cog and then onto number 6 on the second bright link.

New on here, the garage wants around $500 to remove lowering links on my RR. I've recently changed the brakes so feel capable enough to tackle the links. Does anyone here know what would be involved? I take it I'd need to get some factory links but is that all?
FYI, I brought the RR being told...
Got some new front links today. Plan to DIY, I have a few questions..
1) Do i need to jack up the truck or can i do this on the ground?
2) Are these links under pressure or just remove and replace?
3) Will they just line up with the strut and the sway bar or will have have to pry or negotiate...
Hi just wana ask you some question:
Recieved my lowering Tool from IID, it seems that 22mm is max lowering with this tool!
Just wana ask if its possible to install links to get lower?
May someone will know it? Would be realy thankful!
In case anyone is wondering what that horrible rattle is when rolling over uneven surfaces. If you jack your wheels off the ground and there is no horizontal/vertical play, more than likely your sway bar end links are due for a refresh.
I ordered a new set from atlantic british and installed...
