Noticed a loud Hum when the car is first started on a cold morning, if i had to guess i'd say it was the suspension leveling off but its loud, almost like feedback on the radio, but continues when the radio is off.

So I usually drive around listening to the radio or CD but after replacing valve gaskets and really listening to my Rover I'm noticing that 0-50ish is a nice quite ride. 55-69-70ish a high pitched hum but not too loud from the engine/underbody area comes in. 75+ the noise diminishes.
Hi folks, I have a P38 BMW diesel 1996. I have a front end hum and when I steer at full lock the vehicle "jumps" as though is slipping a cog tooth if that makes any sense. Am sure the noise is from the front end, I have a recon gbox and transfer box fitted a year ago, new props shaft too. Any ideas?
