Finally had a chance to get back at the HSE I'm restoring this weekend.
Changed the Diffs. Oil seemed not neglected, still had good color and smell. Maybe a smidgen thin but just some black grime on the magnets with no shavings. Guess at least that was changed at some point.

So from what I can gather, Mobile 1 75W-90 Syn fluids for the diffs are acceptable as a replacement for OEM. But if you have e-locker rear diff, use the OEM one. Xfer case, use the OEM fluid...sound about right?
