    While cleaning up the dash wiring I found the end of a vacuum hose coming through the firewall. :???: Tracing it back under the hood it is teed into the line connecting the two items shown in the pics and nothing else. Obviously with an open end under the dash these things are not working...

    I've searched the threads and I can't seem to find the answer to this... I'm replacing the vacuum tubes on my cruise control, but the longer tube disappears back into the firewall. How do you disconnect this? Do you access it from the engine side, or somewhere inside the cabin? Thanks, James
