  2. Interior fan speed indicator, is everyones the same?

Range Rover Mark II / P38
Evening all, Never noticed this before but when waiting on the glow plug indicator to go out I heard the fan gently blowing and one bar showing on the HEVAC screen. It doesn't matter how much I turn the control dial anti clockwise it will not switch the fan off. Just wondering if...
  3. Electric Cooling fan Issue

Range Rover Mark II / P38
Hello all, on my 2000 the electric cooling fans come on when the key is turned on and they seem to stay running as long as the vehicle is on and/or running. I just noticed this yesterday, pulled the 2 fuses and they shut off, reinstall the fuses and they start right back up running. Coolant...
  4. Heater Fan Noise When Turning Right

Range Rover Mark III / L322
2006 Range Rover HSE I am experiencing a strange situation when I turn right. There is an odd fan chirping noise. The car must be moving to hear the noise and the heater fan must be on (typically at position 2 or 3). When the heater fan is turned off I hear no noise. Going over bumps the...

Hi I am originally from the UK but now live in Sweden, with the future of SAAB being uncertain and our cold winters I bought a 2004 L322 TD6 RANGER ROVER VOGUE. Justification, heated rear seats for the kids. Real justification, it is a cool car, also it looks like a good car for snow and ice...
  7. Cooling fan operation?

Range Rover Mark II / P38
Should the cooling fans be ever be coming on even if the a/c is not switched on? The reason I ask is I only ever hear/see them running while using the air conditioning, I know the condensor pressures regulate the fan speed through the trinary switch, but if the fans are required with out the a'c...
  8. Un-doing the viscous fan nut?..arghhhh!

Range Rover Mark III / L322
Un-doing the viscous fan nut…..arghhhh! Moto One asking about removing his alternator reminded me of the fun & games I had when I replaced the radiator on my ’03 model (BMW M62 engine) recently. Everything was perfectly straightforward and went very smoothly except for the removal of the...
