(promise I searched for this)
I went through the car wash yesterday and the external D Pillar trim became loose. I tried to push it back in place but it doesn't seem to be as snug as previous. Do I need to completely remove it and check to see if something was damaged?
Thanks,
John
I replaced my fuse box about 500 miles ago with new; in addition I relocated my RL7 relay externally. The basic theory I'm working under is the RL7 relay was under designed for the load it carries and over heats easily doing damage to the fuse box beneath it.

I have started this thread to clarify a small error in a similar thread that I refered to when removing my handles for painting. 2004 model.
There are only TWO bolts securing the handle. Both are torx / hex. The other torx bolts secure the scuff plates behind the handle and do not need to be...
Couple of quick questions for you RR veterans:
(1) Am I missing something or do the new RR's not display external temperatures on any of the displays?
(2) Does anyone know what the "Off-road Information" feature in the "display settings" menu does (what is displayed when activated that...
This post has been prompted by a snapped bonnet cable release which is being replaced next week following the guidance on this forum and the FFRR forum.
Some older cars used to have an 'emergency' external bonnet release hidden behind the grille or front bumper. Has anyone installed one or...

Hi all,
I have a (normally) superb 2000 P38 with 75k on the clock.
I have found this place is great for novice Lady mechanics and I have saved a lot of time and money finding and researching answers to problems, recently I enjoyed using the guide with help from my son to change my plenum...
I have a range rover 2006 supercharged which I had to change the lightning module YWC500281 on it as some lights were not working with that and there was a water damage on the board, so it was not working properly, I took the damaged part off and just ordered a new part, Installed the new part...
Afternoon all
Been lurking around the forum but so far haven't really contributed.
Anyway, this morning on the way in to the office one of our infamous taxi's got a bit too close and managed to whack the passenger side external mirror of my baby and then proceeded to disappear into the fumes of...
Hi All,
The external temperature sensor is returning -40 C - quick question is will the a/c still work in manual mode?
Car is in the garage now having a new sensor fitted and I'm just curious if I could still drive it (45 C today!).
Cheers.
The external temperature readout of the main instrument cluster (the TFT screen) on my 2012 RRS SC always seems to be +/- 10 degrees off on any given day (doesn't matter if set to Fahrenheit or Celsius)...anybody else notice this/have this problem? Anyone know if there is a good way to...
Hi
I'm looking at wiring a shark fin type amplified aerial. Anyone suggest the best way of getting 12v supply to it which only works when ignition is turned on. I was going to use the feed from the rear auxillary socket but the wires are disconnected (probably used for the GPS CD drive...
Hi Guys,
Has anyone fitted an external electric fuel pump for a diesel P38?
I observed that ( from BMW forums) it's a solution for famous 'hot start' issues.
My intank pump works less intermittent than it used to. Though I have purchased a new one the hassle of fitting it worries me. So I...
