Air condition don't work. Low side pressure is too high and high side is too low. I think that the termostatic expansion valve is broken. I think that this part is difficult to reach. Does anyone know how to replace this part? Car is 1st gen Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 petrol. Best Regards, Juha...

Hello. Just found out my bleeder screw on top of my expansion is leaking coolant, and I am nowhere near a repair shop of any kind. Is there a quick fix I can do in the meantime? About 300 miles from home and all the stores are closed. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, I'm having a/c problem with 2006 RRSC. I'm considering ordering compressor, txv, and drier and doing work myself. I looked at rave, but I'm not sure how difficult it is to replace expansion valve. Has anyone done it? How much do you have to disassemble the dash? Thanks in advance for...

Good afternoon all. RR Full Size SC 06 with 70K miles. *BackStory* Most recently the A/C stopped working and it being 93 F I'd like to get it fixed. So I took it to get looked at and was told by 2 different shops that it may be a problem with the Expansion Valve sticking open. Apparently they...

Looked at p38 2001 4.6 last night, all was ok until I looked at the expansion tank and noticed water sort of flowing into the bottom of it through a small tube. It wasn't bubbling more of water just being circulated. Is that normal for these systems?
