This appears to be pretty molded...as if something was supposed to be fitted here. It's not just a generic shape. It's the space right above the RSE controller...i've marked it with a red circle in the picture below.
I've browsed for pictures and flipped through the manual, but I can't seem to...
I've read countless threads and am surprised at the lack of information on replacing the cubby box struts, since they are such a common failure.
I pulled the console apart the other night as far as I was willing to go. I see where I can drill out the rivets on the lid portion of the cubby box...
I replaced the lower lid damper and is was a straightforward job:
1- Open the combined lid to access the main cubby locate and remove the six sliver cad plated screws.
2- Pull the lower part of the upper lid off - there will be some resistance due to the little rubber bump stops.
3- Pull the...
I miss the center cubby of my L322 with the top tray that I could store some coins, hand sanitizer, glass cleaning cloth and a few other items, and then the large deep cubby...the L405 without the cooler is just a big deep hole that I am like an old lady with my small zip lock bags to hold...
I'm planning to remove my Alpine head and redo my entire sound system as my DSP amp is toast. (2001 HSE-12 speaker H-K) I've read through most of the threads to see what people have been doing. If I am able to fit a shallow head where my double DIN Nav is, I would like to remove the Alpine head...
It appears I'm missing a few items from my spare tire cubby. I just noticed this weekend while I was working on my compressor.
I'm pretty sure the rubber strap was put there to hold something.
I'm missing the jack and tire iron. Does anyone have pics of a completely outfitted...
Can anyone give me the cubbyhole measurements ?.
I've taken this image from another forum & I'm more interested in the depth of this (I'm sure that there must be a double din which is shallow enough to fit)
Thanks in advance
Battery gone again .. but that's another story .... getting a Bosch this time.
Now, I'm going to fit a digital voltmeter in the small cubby above the radio.
What would be the best and easiest way to connect it (on with ignition)? Is there a lead to the radio I could use?
I have that phone cradle in my cubby box. Actually it's just the plug for the cradle to set in. Any way it's pretty limiting on space. Is there a possibility of replacing that upper half with a later year model part that would actually render some more usable space?
I have searched all over...
Cargo Net for Side of Trunk (Not Bottom) or a way to use the small cubby area??
I've read where some have wanted a cargo net for the trunk to attach on the side (not bottom). Wondered if anyone found something like this or decided to rig it? I would love a place to throw small things so they...
Quick question...what is the little cubby behind the battery for?
When you take the horizontal battery cover off with the three screws, there is a little cubby behind the battery clearly made for something. Mine is empty. What is this supposed to be?
New to the forum as you can probably see...
One of the best resources for RR on the web, felt I had to join as planning to do the standard '03 to '06 facelift. Have found some really good advice and walkthroughs for this, will be attempting next weekend so will let you know how it...
I own a 2003 Range Rover, I was wondering if anyone ever attempted replacement of the gas filled struts that lift the cubby box in the center console.
I heard when the car was new, the struts actually automatically lifted the cubby box cover upon release of the latch. I know for a fact...
I am new to this forum but certainly not new to vehicles with a green oval on the front having owned various LandRover made vehicles for the best part of twenty years.
Currently I have a 300Tdi Discovery 1 and, more importantly here, a 1997 P38 DSE Auto
I have been searching...
