Is the hard rubber mount for the lower height sensor arm replaceable? I am looking for the attachment point from the lower sensor arm to the suspension(rear radius arm). Ive searched for a replacement but I haven't had any luck and I haven't seen any diagrams indicating a part number either. I...

Last night I deflated (pretty sure, but will double check) my corners via IIDTool and went to jack the range up but since adding wheel offsets and bump stop extensions (from LK8) the range of my downward travel is so much that my trolley jack couldn't get the wheel off the ground. I'm trying to...

Hi everyone. I have just replaced the two belts (main serpentine belt and AC belt) on my L322 3.0TD6 Range Rover, along with all the tensioners, pulleys and idlers for good measure and came across a problem that i couldn't find a solution to online. With that in mind i wanted to share my...

Quick question, When, for example, 0.5mm is milled from the heads, how thick should the shims be under the pedistals? For some reason (the valves become lower in the engine), I think the shim shouldn't be 0.5mm. If someone knows the answer saves me from figuring this out, wasn't a fun job. ;)...

Dealer says my control arm bushings need replacement at 68,000 miles. 2013 RRS purchase with 53,000 miles with Factory Certified Warranty. Shouldn't the Control Arm Bushings have been replaced under the Warranty? Seems like Bushings should have been replaced when car was Certified at 53,000...

Hi all, new here and have my first question. On my 2011 RRS the passenger side wiper arm stopped working. I pulled the arm off and it looked stripped. Did a few test wipes with the arm off and the motor worked fine. So I ordered a new wiper arm and installed it. The wiper worked fine for 15...

Hey All - I don’t want to hijack an existing thread so I am starting a new one. I picked up a 2019 RR SVR on Oct 1. I have put about 1500 miles on the vehicle for this month, and this morning I had a control arm snap on the drivers side rear wheel suspension and then immediately lost control...

Hello I have purchased two lower control arms from different vendors. One is supposed to be moog but it came with a tall ballpoint boot. The one from the other vendor came with the normal ball joint boot. As I’m confused on which I should go with booth items seemed to come shipped different then...

Chaps - I want to install the terrafirma drag link and track bar but apparently it is for 92 and up. I am told by the vendor I need the appropriate drop arm. Is is as easy as finding a later year drop arm and fitting it? I am going to do new bushings and ball joints anyway so I thought why not...

I wanted to take this opportunity to give back to the community and provide some tricks on Replacing the lower control arm bushings with PolyBushes on a RRS (same procedure for an LR3). I just did them over the weekend and there are a few ways to make the job much easier, but aren’t shown in the...

I'm looking at replacing my rear trailing arm bushes and the manual says to raise the car on a four-post lift and depressurise air bags. My car is on coils so I can't depressurise the air bags and I don't have a four-post lift. Would it be alright to raise the chassis up, support it on some...

So I think my shop found the source of my shaking, worn out lower control arm bushings. The mechanic is going to show me the bushing here in a bit, he said he's not sure how any other shop missed it...My question is, has anyone here had luck, or know of others who have, using non-OEM lower...

Hi, 1995 SWB with the 3.9 here. This weekend in rainy stop & go traffic, the engine died. My buddy and I did some preliminary checks: we have fuel at the rail, and battery voltage is good (cranks fine). Still no start though. Had to get a tow home. Checked a few cylinders with my spark plug...

Hey guys. I just completed replacing the front LCA bushings on the driver side. This is not a DIY but more of a "lessons learned" for people that would like to try this on their own. The tools and materials I used for this were: Poybush bushings (both front and rear of front LCA) 3 ton jack 6...

I guess I figured out my suspension issue…its a ride height sensor. My Icarsoft was not reading the right front sensor. Car is done on its bump stops now in the front. I went underneath to check the connection and the arm was not attached to the control arm. It did not take much manipulation...

2009 Ranger Rover Sport Supercharged with 100K miles. Hello All - I just replaced the left front lower control arm. After bolting everything back up and torquing everything down, I noticed the rotor wobbles a bit. Approximately 1/8" of and inch when watching the back side. Almost as if the...

I'm trying to replace the drivers side wiper arm on my '08 L322 and what should have been 15min has killed my entire evening and I still haven't got it. I don't know what 1st year engineering student they let design this, but they obviously realized how stupid it is as my replacement arm is a...
