What did your respray run you? Did you do some of the prep yourself? I've been considering it but have gotten any quotes yet.

I stripped all of the old paint off myself with stripping discs on a 5 inch grinder, this car had been hand painted with magnolia masonry paint over the original colour!!! I also filled any minor dents as well but I believe the paint guy did skim where necessary. I stripped every panel off of the car including the roof all bolt or screw on👍 As it was a full restoration. I then took them to a local paint guy as they were prepped a couple of panels at a time.
I supplied the 2pack colour and clear cost me about £180.00 uk about $220 at the time (last year)
he then charged me £200 for the roof, £150.00 for the bonnet and £80.00 for each of the other panels £50.00 for scuttle so around £800.00 uk $1,000 us. I then fitted them back on as I rebuilt the car very carefully😬

Oops forgot the wings thought that looked cheap sorry🤦‍♂️ Can’t edit that post,,Been a long day!,, (he did the rear wing and quarter as 1 panel each)
